Jennifer Gayles is a Senior Advisor for Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) at Save the Children with over 12 years of experience supporting sexual and reproductive health and family planning (SRH/FP) programs in Francophone West & Central Africa and Southeast Asia. She is the technical lead for implementation of the Tipping Point intervention in Niger, which investigates how social network analysis can make FP interventions for adolescents more effective and scalable. She also provides technical oversight of adolescent health and resilience programs in Cote d’Ivoire, Mozambique and Niger, and co-leads Save the Children’s internal ASRH capacity-building efforts. Previously, she led Growing Up Great in DRC and supported integration of promising normative approaches for ASRH in Mali and Niger. Prior to joining Save the Children, Jennifer supported SRH/FP programming at the Institute for Reproductive Health at Georgetown University and worked to end harmful traditional practices at Tostan. Jennifer has a particular interest in programming for very young adolescents (VYA) and norms shifting interventions for improved ASRH. She received her BSc in International Development and MSc in Global Health from Georgetown University.
